The Fisherman’s Wife

Driving to drop Becky’s car off for an oil change I noticed a restaurant, the Fisherman’s Wife, tucked into a small strip mall on Mahan Drive.  When the service was finished I decided to pay the restaurant a visit.  I drove past it on my first attempt, but following a quick u-turn near the Wal-Mart pulled into the parking lot for the Fisherman’s Wife.

The restaurant is located at 3348 Mahan Drive between a veterinary clinic and a vacant store front.  A simple white and blue sign stood above the door and a small neon signed declare the Fisherman’s Wife was open for business.  As soon as I walked through the door I was warmly greeted and told to sit wherever I liked.  I selected a small table against the wall with a view of the daily special board.  A smiling waitress named Denise took my drink order and promptly returned with my beverage and a menu. Service throughout my meal was attentive and friendly. For more on the Fisherman’s Wife, read the full review on Tallahassee.com.

  1. It sounds delicious. I’ll have to take some coworkers there to try it. Never heard of it til I read the blog.
